October 2020 Goals

So I’ve been reading Welcome Home - a new book about decorating by Myquillin Smith. I’ve never really felt like decorating was my forte, and I’ve never really been into decorating books. Except for hers. I love her philosophy, her priorities, her simplicity. And it has completely inspired me for this fall!

I think I love it most because you’re only supposed to read 2 chapters before each season, and the book has a total of 8 chapters. You’re not really supposed to read it all at once. So I plan to pick it up again just after Thanksgiving to get a cozy minimalist approach to decorating and hosting in Winter.

October has been so sweet so far. I took a last minute trip to Nashville to visit family, but all other weekends have just been home. Hanging out. Buying some pumpkins. Going on dates. Getting in arguments. Folding laundry. Doing some counseling. Watching some movies and documentaries. Listening to podcasts. Reading. Going on walks. The good stuff of just being home, after a big travel month in September.

I know we are halfway through, but here are my October goals!
