Mother’s Day Gift Guide

I cannot remember the last time I’ve done a gift guide! (Have I ever done one?!) But since my podcast this Mother’s Day week was full of truth and meaning and made so many of you cry, I decided to do something light and fun as a re-entry to blogging after 5 quiet months here.

There are just some simple, fun things that have been helpful to me as a mama lately, so I thought I’d share them here!

  1. Apple Watch Band  - The soft band and velcro are now my favorite! I love how it feels and fits, and I love the bright pink and orange color (although there are lots of different colors to choose from)! $7

  2. Mildliners - Only the best highlighters on the planet. I love using them in my journal, my planner, my Bible, and lesson plans as we cross things off. They are just lovely!

  3. Target Slides - They are just $15 and I love the tan ones! I’m gonna live in these this summer.

  4. 40oz Stanley - I was very against the Stanley bandwagon for a long time, convinced I could find a better one that was less expensive. And you know what? NONE of them fit in my cupholder as advertised! I finally just went for it, and I am SO glad I did. The grippy handle, the straw, the cupholder fit - it’s worth the money.

  5. Create Anyway Book - Just listen to podcast Episode 192 to see how I really feel about this book! It it like holding a lovely work of art, full of beautiful photography and an inspiring message that every mama needs to hear.

  6. Fresh Peonies - my one flower request! I always send Will to Trader Joe’s for the best peonies and prices

  7. Altras - My new fav shoes to do life in. I could workout in them or go running in them, but mostly I just like to wear them around the house, running errands, and taking the kids to the park. Cute, comfortable, and supportive. Obsessed with the new “wide toe” design they offer.

  8. True and Co Bra - I have this bra in 3 different colors and styles and it is ALL that I wear. Great for nursing, too!

  9. Airpods - I can listen to my Marco Polos, podcasts and audio books without anyone else hearing them. I workout with them. I talk on the phone with them and can still do dishes. I love my airpods!

Just to be clear - I use all of these almost daily! So they aren’t on my gift list, but if I didn’t have them they totally would be. Is there anything you use all the time that you love and would recommend? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
